My daughter wanted a pair of Wallabees, a funny thing, since I havent worn them since the 70s. But I relented thinking she would not like the cheap copies they probably have today. These were perfect. Soft and flexible, as comfortable as I remember them (she let me try them on.) The price was a little higher than in my day, but because they are Clarks, theyll last a good long time.

The Wallabee is a great comfort shoe. I work standing on my feet for 10 hours a day and they hold up great, even on the first time I wore them. They are a bit wide, but not enough for my ankle to flip the shoe over, like I tend to do in my Danskos. My heels pop out the shoe like Danskos do, but it doesnt bother me. They are 1/2 size longer than marked. I usually wear 8 1/2 or 39s but I wear a 8 in the Wallabee. If you need a practical, non-flashy comfort shoe for work, you should definitely check out the Clarks Wallabee.
